HOLY SMOKE - A never ending Love of God to CCRC of Toronto
Attendees at the 2018 the Servants' Retreat experienced God' presence. "Oh Lord, it was a HOLY SMOKE." (observed the hazy image). We stand in awe with your HOLY PRESENCE and I know there are angels all around. It allowed us to praise Jesus and be a witness to the world. It took place Saturday, April 7, 2018 from 9 AM to 4 PM. at St. Roch's Church 2889 Islington Ave., Toronto. Thanks to the efforts of the Council's Councillors headed by the Chair Mary Cruz. This retreat intended for those who are active in ministry and those who had served as a leader in the past in keeping with the theme of "Feed my Sheep." The Music Ministry provided by Holy Trinity Community by the Indonesian Ethnic Community.
The Servants' Retreat is a gathering hosted by CCRC. It started with the Holy Rosary and Holy mass. It was Commissioning of those who will be the coordinator for the Life in the Spirit Seminar. The LSS will take place on Saturday, April 28 and 29, 2018 at St. Mary's Parish Church.
Fr. Ben St. Croix, a Liaison to the Cardinal to the Archbishop of Toronto with a crowd of 70 Catholic Charismatics from all over the Archdiocese of Toronto. He concentrated on the Service/commitment - learning from the past. Fr. Matthias Yaw Kotoka Amuzu, Spiritual Director focused on Feed my Sheep, what am I being feed. The final talk was a Reflection on service by Mary Cruz. The retreat concluded on Eucharistic Adoration Service celebrated by Fr. Matthias Yaw Kotoka Amuzu.
Let me share our encounter, as I looked back during the Pentecost Rally - 2015 Cradle of Hope. During the time of the talk of Fr. Joby, we went out in the Hall because of the smoke alarm sounded. But this mystical experience proved the incense is over the Parish Hall but we remained worshipping our Lord.
Dear God, I have doubts like Thomas (the Apostle), let your manifested signs, the light and the wisdom to comprehend the beauty of your presence. May the Holy Spirit touches and continue to guide us to do your holy will. Help us to always find peace and comfort in You and always, remember that we have ever been alone. Direct us and teaching us that we may be aware and who to approach for assistance, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen
God is GREAT!!!
Above and beyond the headlines - The Christ the King Rally
On Saturday, November 25, 2017, the Christ the King Rally sponsored by the Catholic Charismatic Renewal Council of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It was a wonderful multi-ethnic gathering to celebrate the King of Kings. A big turn out where over 700 people filled the hall with another 50 people standing.
There was three separate conferences for an adult, youth and children. It started with the blessings and Conference and venue by Deacon John Coletti and the Holy Rosary by Sisters Hermie Caesar and Minda Pilien. Bro Al Jacob emceed it while Sisters Rose Civello and Adela Griffiths took the Chaplet of the Divine mercy. Inspiring prophetic words spoken during the conference.
The theme focused on the "Going deeper: becoming fire to ignite the world". The speakers were Deacon Larry Oney and Fr. Matthias Yaw Kotoka Amuzu. Fr. Carl Schmidt led the Eucharistic Healing Service, followed by Adoration. It culminated by the Holy mass presided by Most Reverend Robert Kasun, CBS, Aux. Bishop of the Archdiocese of Toronto. The overall event has touched the lives of all with the healing power of God through the operation and the gift of the Holy Spirit.
According to Sister Mary Cruz (Chair - CRRC), "together we saw the success, but this is not the end, we all have a commitment to be a sheep, to go deeper, to be FIRE (not become fire anymore, as we have been RE-ignited) and now maintain the unity and work together as the body of Christ, as our mission is to: Ignite the world. (And keep the body together, keep the visual: of the puzzle - for those who were present)".
Looking backward in our Living for Christ Prayer Community. I recalled on one homeless lady who came to our prayer meeting. We welcomed her and right away she felt the bond of love and touched by the feeling of belonging. Sister Gina came every Friday without missing to praise and worship our God. She also comes down and joins our internal and external activities. She is pleased and asked me how to pray and keeping Jesus as the center in her life. Joint effort of all the members and showed solidarity and help, they gave gifts and monetary help. But one time, we noticed that she was absent for two weeks; we asked our Spiritual adviser and told us; she succumbed to pneumonia. We also caught surprise and learned that she was a wealthy woman who has much money in the bank. As a family of God, we felt the sadness and offered a memorial mass.
Eternal rest grants unto Sister Gina, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her May her souls of the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
Together, we are one body in Christ
Sometimes we are impatience with God. We become restless and bored while we wait for his plans to be fulfilled in our lives. At first, our faith makes us trust God, and he will handle the situation, but when his solution seems slow in coming, you decide that God needs to help. Losing patience may cause you to rush in advance and take matters into your own hands. Patiently waiting for God can actually help you anticipate each new day. God is doing what is best for you so his plan will be accomplished on his schedule not yours. Keeping that in mind, you can actually become excited about waiting for him to act. You awake each day anticipating what good thing he will accomplish in your life, and it will be just right for you at just right time. So, together, we are one body in Jesus Christ.
After the Holy Shout at the Christ the King Rally - 2017. I reflected that life is very precious; it made delight to my Sister's life. She was pronounced to live for 3 days and live in three weeks. It gave joy to my spirit as one of the intercessor for a successful operation of 10 years of having internal bleeding. Despite physical pain plus constant thought of worry and apprehension about not going home for Christmas. His Doctors presented a decent bill of health and allowed to stay home before December 25, 2017. It brought life to our family and beyond possibility for a wonder "love offering" and help from the Catholic Charismatic Renewal Service of Ontario (CCRSO), Filipino Canadian Catholic Charismatic Prayer Communities (FCCCPC) and St. Peter and Paul Prayer Group. It turned me full of joy for my brothers and sisters who prayed for me after having quadruple by heart pass for which it extended by service to our God. There are numerous things to enumerate, but it blew me away for God is GOOD. I chill all over of my body and soul for I am surrounded by GOD'S favour.
With all the amazing graces, again I do a HOLY SHOUT in the new year 2018, for me, I believe the tsunami of mercies and blessings is here this 2018. How About You? Make NOISE, Believe, it shall happen because we are a friend of the Miracle worker, JESUS CHRIST.
