The Art of Listening
One may think that hearing God's voice is beyond us. The video was the Homily of Bishop Richard Grecco at the opening Ceremony of the Canadian Catholic Charismatic Conference held at St. Michael's Cathedral on July 26, 2009. It encourages us to grow in our relationship with God, no matter where you find yourself in life. He expanded the role of the Third Person in the Holy Trinity in making life easier in hearing God's call to us. His Grace also emphasized the Art of listening to the voice of God in spite of noises in the City. If you ask God to speak to you, why would he refuse? Think about it. I encourage you then to stop, be still and listen.
"Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths."
"My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me."
"Be still, and know that I am God. I am exalted among the nations, I am exalted in the earth!."
"For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and spirit, of joints and marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart."
